screenshot of layoutDimension 4 - Hosting
This design created for Dimension 4 hosting is one of my most graphical CSS layouts to date. It combines a vertical liquid layout as well as general static elements. The navigation has a simple rollover effect and the colour profile used is hopefully pleasing to the eye.

screenshot of layoutMacEdition - Industry-leading news and analysis:
Another design for Paul Scrivens Version 2 competition. This month, MacEdition is looking at getting a face lift, and I have decided to get back into it. This design took me two days to complete so I might even have time to design another one for the competition. This design comes with a fluid base.

Effuse has been around for a long time, I joined the community looking for a group of designers who were happy to share, contribute, and discuss information about design. I found that plus a few friends along the way. This design is to show effuse is not dead and is ready to come back even stronger and more focused. Good luck guys.

screenshot of layoutMy personal travel site:
This site is to help me collect information and get feedback on my trip overseas in the near future. It is using Movable Type as its content management system, this will let me easily update the site when I am overseas. As a personal note, I'll be travelling Europe July/August 2004 if anyone wants to take me out to the pub.

screenshot of layoutHuman Condition:
Human Condition was created for Alex King's Wordpress competition. It was named after a song by the great designer and musician, Tycho. It features a medium image base that differs from the traditional box blog but still maintains legible readability.
Please note this theme only works with WordPress 1.2

screenshot of layoute-lusion wait page:
e-lusion needed a quick makeover while I decided what to do with it. At this stage I was also forcing myself to use colours I would not normally use. I also used a new technique I call border fill, where instead of using images to create a series of borders I used multiple visual media styles with their own elements. Take a look at the code.

screenshot of layoutesheets wait page:
esheets is my project site which will help designers, programmers and general users get a better grasp on using CSS. This design is very straight forward and uses a full image base. Again I forced myself to use colours which I normally would not use. The colour theme worked well and portrays a feeling of mystery.

screenshot of layoutEffuse wait page:
Effuse, oh how I miss you. Effuse was a small community run by a group of friends which shared a simular interest in design. While they decided which way they would evole I created a simple wait page for them. Bookmark Effuse because they will rise again with something amazing for the community.

screenshot of layoutGNUBIS - CMS:
This design was built for GNUBIS, a brazilian company, focused on developing Free / Open Source information systems. My job, to rewrite one of their CMS's layout structure using valid xhtml and CSS. To deal with huge amounts of content, a simple layout was required to render very quickly.

screenshot of layoute-lusion - e-ntry:
This design was built to show how blogs can be attractive and still maintain the flexibility to support a CMS. It got featured in the vault and Wowfactor as a site which had the ability to inspire. Most of the site is still working and contains a few quick posts about me and my life so if interested go have a look.

screenshot of layoutErratic Blue - Zen Garden Submission:
One of my major turning points in my career was getting a design into the Zen Garden showcase. It felt like years ago that I designed Erratic Blue, I remember how delighted I was seeing it for the first time in the garden archives. It is was also the only first Australian design in the showcase. Come one Australia, show them what we are made of!
